Paul’s Letter to the Colossians (Just like the Colossians)
The Supremacy of Christ (Colossians)

  • Christ the Lord of our walk is expressed in “laboring in love for others”
    • I want you to know how much I struggled for you…(v.1)

(ibig kung malaman ninyokung gaano kalakiang aking

      pagsisikap alang-alang sa inyo...)
  • Christ the Lord of our

    salvation is expressed in clear

    understanding of Christ divinity

    • so thay they may have the full knowledge… (v.2)
      (buong katiyakan ng pagkaunawa…)
    • Persuasion - Colossians 2:4

      •

How persuasive are some of the heresies and false teachings that are found in the church?
      • What persuasive teachings exist in culture that believers would do well to avoid?

      •

Ever heard someone speak, know there was error in there somewhere, but were unable to decipher the actual error at the moment?
  • Christ the Lord of our growth is expressed in our spiritual “health”
    • how disciplined you are and firm your faith in Christ is. (v.4,5)
(ang inyong kaayusan, at ang katatagan ng inyong pananampalataya.)

    • Colossians 2:5
      • Paul was rejoicing from afar with the Colossians for their Christian character.
      • How important is Christian stability to those who are watching?
      • When trials come, what security does it provide to know that mature believers have been through similar circumstances?
        • Practices -> Scripture -> Stories -> Examples -> Community -> Practices -> …

Just Like the Colossians, we will train and equip our youth in the camp to thrive in order to combat the modern heresies.
Strive to continue (THRIVE) defending, at all cost, CHRIST the Lord of our walk, salvation, and growth.

Vision: To see equipped members fulfilling the Great Commission.
