Matthew 18:21-35

We should not withhold forgiveness from others because God has forgiven and forgotten all our sins.

Forgiveness is giving up resentment against someone and our right to get even no matter what has been done.

It is the surrender of my right to hurt you back. (Dr. Charles Stanley)

Unforgiveness is the deliberate, willful refusal to give up one’s resentment and the right to get even based

on the wrongful thought that someone needs to pay. (Dr. Charles Stanley)

1. God forgives us generously out of compassion. Matt 18:21-22

2. God forgives us freely out of compassion. Matt 18:23-27

10,000 talents = 200 years of work

3.  God forgives us wisely out of compassion. Matt 18:28-35

All our sins are forgiven and forgotten.  If our forgiveness should be in direct proportion to the incredible amount

that we have been forgiven, then we must always willing to forgive.

Vision: To see equipped members fulfilling the Great Commission.
