Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.

  • We give even when overwhelmed with problems
  • We give even though we are in extreme poverty
  • We give beyond our ability
  • We give generously
  • We give eagerly

Four lifestyle characteristics that God rewards (2 Corinthians 8:5 & 1 Corinthians 16:2)

Central emphasis: Jesus calls upon us to let go of our shortsighted economy and embrace His.

“And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. - (2 Corinthians 9:8)

    • The More You Get, the More You Should Give to God
    • The Best Way to Give Based o Your Prosperity is to Use a Percentage System
How Do You Choose a Percentage?
