  • Holy Spirit-Chosen Workers (13:1-3)
    • The Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Paul the work for which I have called them.” (Acts 13: 2a)

    • PRINCIPLE: The more we understand the gospel and embrace God’s version of the body of Christ, the more we will transcend differences. 
  • Holy Spirit-Directed Itineraries (13:5-14:26)

      • GOD, inner-inner acting ,inter-acting, intervening
      • PEOPLE, habits, hurts, hang-ups 
      • SITUATIONS, brokenness and “lostness”
    • PRINCIPLE: The Holy Spirit is committed to guide any believer who honestly seeks and will do His will. 
  • Holy Spirit-Empowered Works (13:12-14:26)
    • Then Saul who, also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit… (Acts13: 9a)
    • And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you…” (13:11)
    • Missionary Strategy of Paul (Sanctioned, empowered by the Holy Spirit)
      • Concentrate your efforts on those who are responsive… (Acts13:46)
      • Focus on your success not on the opposition. (14:20)
    • PRINCIPLE: Any ministry (kingdom services) done whether for “in-reach” or out-reach, is a ministry to the Lord.
      • “As they ministered to the Lord…” (13:2a)

 

  • CONCLUSION :In missions, we need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and expect Him to give us a sense of peace when we are moving in God’s chosen way. CDE…

    • 2. Visit any one (1) mission point or church planted.
    • 3. Participate in either local or foreign missions.
