So much war, so much strife, so much pain exists in the world.

    • It means perfect welfare, serenity, fulfilment, freedom from trouble, and liberation from anything which hinders contentment.
    • Colossians 1:20: “… reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross."
    • Peace in the Bible is always based on justice and righteousness.
    • Every tiny step, every pure action, receives God’s blessing!
    • The experience of joy and hope independent of outward circumstances – deepest joy.
    • There is no real peace apart from a relationship with God (Romans 5:1)What may masquerade as worldly peace is merely a temporary lull in chaos (John 14;27)
      • True peace is found only in a restored relationship with God.

      • Rejoice with those who rejoice
      • Mourn with those who mourn
      • Live in harmony with others
      • Do what is right
      • LIVE AT PEACE WITH ANYONE
      • Do not take revenge

      • Overcome evil with good

    • Who is a peacemakers?
      • Carry the message of peace to others 
      • Reconcile others to Christ
      • Bring the gospel 
      • Bring reconciliation to broken relationships
  • 3. Promised Benefit: You are called children of God … they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
    • Exclusive children of God that can bring the peace of knowing Him to others.
    • Exclusive ambassadors for peace -- who bring the wonderful message of God's peace to the world. 
    • Live a “carbon copy” of the Lord Jesus Christ.
    • Reflect the humility and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.
    • “The LORD bless you and protect you; the LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; the LORD look with favor on you and give you peace”  (Num. 6:24-25).
