TRIUMPHANT FAITH

I Samuel 17:45-47; Hebrews 11:32-35

CENTRAL POINT:
Triumphant Faith is our testimony to the present which will become a lasting example to the next generation.

Christians are known to be as men and women of faith.

1. Faith must be audacious (bold) in facing trials while with God.

“You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted.” I Sam. 17:45

Our trust should not be shaken by:

Panic

Pressure

Problems

2. Faith must be fully acquainted with God.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me.You know when I sit down and when I rise up;You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down,And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Psalm 139:1-3

Our trust in God must be:

Conversant (familiar)
Communicable (contagious)
Cumulative (increasing)

3. Faith must achieve that which glorifies God.

“And without faith it is impossible to please Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Our trust in God must be:

Gospel driven
Love Driven
Worship Driven

Conclusion:

Be renewed in your faith and be bold for God.
